The Best: For pure, exuberant fun, nothing beat Alaska Light Opera Theatre's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical based on the biblical story of Jacob's son Joseph and his coat of many colors. Julia Cossman delivered the musical narrative with a powerfully clear voice, and Michael Gruber was a delight in the lead. The deftly choreographed dance routines that were the core of the show maintained a happy-go-lucky playfulness that kept the audience smiling.
